L-Propargylglycine, also known as (S)-2-Aminopent-4-ynoic acid, is a synthetic amino acid. It can be utilized in the synthesis of folate-conjugates and corresponding metal-chelate complexes. As a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and is capable of undergoing copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
